I’ll be the very first in my household to gain an university level, which’s something I hold very near my heart.
My family and I moved to the USA in 2014 We chose Memphis as our second home to begin fresh and construct a far better future.
When I graduated senior high school in 2020, I made a decision to sign up with the Army Book so I can work permanent to help sustain my family members monetarily. Along the way, my parents constantly reminded me of the importance of a college degree. Honestly, I struggled with the decision between selecting job over school.
That altered when I discovered the College of Memphis Global (UofM Global) where I might earn my degree 100 % online from a certified, nationally identified Carnegie R 1 college. The versatility of the program made it possible to stabilize work, life, and education and learning. Once I registered, I knew I made the appropriate option.
As an on-line trainee, I stayed entailed with campus life through profession fairs and signing up with student companies like the Culture of Personnel Administration. I intended to obtain one of the most out of my university experience and get in touch with individuals that shared my passion for human resources.
Last November, I released to Kuwait, with a month left of fall term. Many thanks to the support and structure of UofM Global, I had the ability to finish solid, also making the Dean’s Listing. I’m taking 4 courses while offering on active duty, and I’m honored to claim I’ll be graduating in May.
Having the ability to offer my country, support my household, and make my level means the globe to me. I feel prepared to take on whatever comes next.
